What is the DPO self-check?
The DPO self-check is a comprehensive online tool that lets companies review and improve their data-protection setup on their own. The advisor walks them through the central topics of data-protection law in a structured way — from principles and lawfulness of processing to data-subject rights, data security and data-breach management.
Specific application areas are covered as well: website and web shop, DPIA threshold analysis, video surveillance, information obligations and processor agreements.
Which data-protection topics are covered?
The self-check covers the six central topics of data-protection law systematically — each module can be run on its own.
Specific application areas.
In addition to the core areas, the self-check also covers specific use cases that are particularly relevant for many businesses.
Dashboard, progress tracking and flexible processing.
A dashboard with progress indicator and colour coding gives businesses an overview of progress and open measures. Modules can be run individually, and data is automatically carried over between modules.
